History

The prior owner bought from a talented builder in Oregon that extensively modified the car a few years ago. Before build, car was a low mileage garage kept bone stock naturally aspirated 2.2 manual. , 5 speed, t tops cruise, air, manual steering, no ABS, and roll-up windows (now power windows).

Approximately 50k miles on v6 motor, about 110k miles on body/chassis. All original paint in good condition for age. Typical small dents, blemishes, dings indicative of age and use. This car produces nearly 230hp with a really nice smooth torque curve up to redline. Handling in this setup is on par with a car that could be used for both street and track use. Incredible amounts of grip in corners.

1MZ-FE VVTi V6 JP Performance headers with merged Y pipe.

2 1/2 inch mandrel bent exhaust high flow cat and Magnaflow dual-outlet stainless cat-back.

Custom dual entry cold air intake for the dual throttle body.

134A AC compressor and functional factory cruise.

3-quart accusump with solenoid control dash switch.

Oil cooler in right side vent, remote oil filter, and PCV catch can.

2001 Solara transmission loaded into MR2 case with 2006 Spyder Torsen LSD

Interior

JDM leather turbo seats with perforated Alcantara inserts. Both seats have bolster and lumbar adjustments (had to strip a USDM turbo seat and install the back on the driver’s seat to get dual adjustments)

Retrofit OEM power windows, locks, and mirrors with OEM door cards, and switchgear.
